Introducing the Limited Edition Ndebele inspired SoulShooz 1991.

The SoulShooz 1991 is our take on a Ndebele Imbadada.

1991 is a significant year in Ndebele culture, as this was the year that world- renowned Ndebele artist, Esther Mahlangu put Ndebele designs on the world stage by becoming the first woman to create artwork on a German Sedan, turning it into a unique and colourful Art Car. We decided to celebrate this by creating a Ndebele Inspired SoulShooz, which we have dubbed the SoulShooz 1991.

Although the Imbadada are most commonly celebrated by the Zulu people, we wanted to share the pride we have for other South African Cultural groups. Our shooz are durable, stylish and perfect for hot days and holidays. Our shooz are made using our signature tyre sole with hand-printed, Ndebele inspired straps and foam footbed that after a couple of wears, will shape itself to your foot. Our sandals (shooz) are comfortable, up-cycled, sustainable and long lasting.
